This is rent help for people with a disability that is not tied to one building. You pick your own private rental that fits your needs. You pay 30% of your adjusted household income, and the program covers the rest of the eligible cost.

Tenant pays 30% of adjusted household income; the program covers remaining eligible costs. Income ceilings (same as the standard Rent Supplement): single person/couple (1-bedroom) $45,000 urban / $50,500 rural; + 1 other (2-bedroom) $57,500 urban / $59,500 rural; + 2 or more others (3-bedroom) $63,000 urban / $67,500 rural.

New Brunswick residents living with a disability, shown by one of: a long-term physiological, anatomical, psychological or developmental impairment that limits daily living (verified by a healthcare professional); receipt of CPP Disability or another disability pension; or status as a long-term mental-health client with written verification.
