The Woodstock Salvation Army runs the Low-income Energy Assistance Program (LEAP) for Oxford County. This is a one-time emergency grant to help pay an overdue electricity or natural gas bill so your service is not shut off. They also run the HOPE Market food bank and offer other emergency help.

CORRECTION: the original draft's address '190 Huron Street' is STALE - the Salvation Army CLOSED the Huron Street location at the end of Aug 2024 and moved all food bank and community services to the church at 769 Juliana Drive, Woodstock N4V 1E9 (the food bank is now branded 'HOPE Market'). Food bank hours per the site: Mon-Thu 9am-12pm and 1pm-4pm; Fri by appointment only. Tillsonburg Salvation Army runs a separate fund for Tillsonburg residents.
