Nova Scotia Income Assistance (ESIA) - Standard Household Rate
Nova Scotia's ESIA program gives you a set amount each month that covers your basics, including shelter, food, and utilities. The amount depends on your household size and whether you rent, own, or board. For example, a single person who rents or owns gets $738 a month. Some single people qualify for an Enhanced rate of $1,022 a month.
